Unique .68 caliber electro-pneumatic marker combines new lightweight design with company’s legendary durability

Fort Wayne, Ind. The leader in paintball marker durability and reliability is taking its game to a whole new level – introducing the Crossover from Tippmann Sports. This new lightweight, high performance electro-pneumatic marker is designed to perform for players regardless of conditions or style of play. At the heart of the Crossover beats the latest iteration of Tippmann’s FlexValve – the exclusive industry technology that allows players to switch from electronic to mechanical mode on the fly, with just the flip of a switch. A variety of other key features are also integrated into the Crossover to give players the ability to go harder than before, while traveling lighter than ever.

“We’re excited about the new Crossover because – in many ways – we’re covering new ground and reaching out to an expanded group of players with this product advancement,” said Denny Tippmann, Jr., chief technology officer for Tippmann Sports. “The Crossover was designed for the hybrid player, someone who needs a durable and reliable marker that will deliver – regardless of the style of game. As implied by its name, it’s a marker that will successfully cross over to any game, anywhere, any time. While our existing modifiable and easy-to-upgrade markers remain extremely popular, we also wanted to reach out to those players seeking legendary Tippmann durability in a sleek, lightweight and bold new design.”

  • Tournament lock switch
  • Internal gasline
  • Bottom regulator with the ability to convert to a front regulator

Tippmann Introduces Revolutionary “Flip-Top” Rental Marker

Innovative new design integrates modular internals to significantly reduce maintenance time

Fort Wayne, Ind. For more than 25 years, Tippmann has dominated the paintball rental market. Today, the company is advancing its leadership position with the introduction of its FT-12 Flip-Top Rental, a groundbreaking new marker with modular internals that can be serviced in less than 60 seconds without tools. The FT-12 is the most durable, reliable, and easy-to-maintain rental marker ever created. Developed based on feedback from paintball field owners around the world, this new-look marker has been specially engineered to reduce maintenance time by as much 75 percent.

“Our markers have always been designed to be reliable and durable to minimize necessary maintenance,” said Denny Tippmann, Jr., chief technology officer for Tippmann Sports. “But, over the years, we have heard from field owners looking for a rental marker that further reduces maintenance time. We listened closely, and then went to work on developing a marker that not only accomplished this goal, but also incorporated other features that will ultimately create a better rental experience for the players. And, today, we’re excited to introduce the new FT-12 Flip-Top Rental.”

The FT-12 is a compact marker with an ergonomically-positioned front vertical grip, which is ideal for players of all ages. The marker’s patent-pending design makes gaining access to the modular internals significantly easier – simply remove the barrel, unscrew the collar and flip open the top. No tools are required. Once inside, the modular layout of the FT-12 allows for incredibly fast and worry-free access to all key parts.

Other significant features incorporated into the FT-12 include the following:

  • An easy-to-remove modular trigger assembly that is designed to help reduce pin wear
  • A top non-cycling A-5 style cocking handle with built-in cover to keep dirt and debris out of the marker
  • A new lockdown feedneck, which keeps moisture from entering the breech
  • A 1.5 inch blade trigger with a short pull for faster firing and a more responsive feel
  • An 8.5 inch high-performance barrel for greater accuracy
  • A built-in sight and offset feedneck for easier targeting
  • An internal gasline, offering an enhanced look while minimizing the potential for gasline damage
  • A recessed safety, which is easier for first-time time players to engage
  • A riveted-on nameplate
  • An ergonomic grip for enhanced comfort
  • Yellow grip cheeks for quick visual identification

“Just by looking at this new marker, you can see that we’ve literally reinvented the rental to deliver a more positive experience for field owners and players alike – it’s an exciting advancement for us,” said Patrick Ehren, vice president of sales and marketing for Tippmann Sports. “As an industry leader, we remain dedicated to incorporating the ideas we get from our loyal customers and consumers into innovative product and marketing solutions that help drive the evolution of the industry, which is certainly illustrated by the introduction of the FT-12.”

The new marker has already been endorsed by more than 20 major paintball fields around the world and will be utilized in the rental fleet of USA’s Skirmish, CPX Sports, Cousins and Hollywood’s Sports; Canada’s Mirabel, Flag Raiders and Wasaga Paintball; and Veckring and Mega Campo.

Tippmann Introduces High-Performance Goggle Line

New design with C-Max Technology offers players enhanced clarity, comfort, and coverage

Fort Wayne, Ind. As part of the company’s ongoing effort to enhance paintball play, Tippmann Sports is proud to introduce its new Valor goggle. The redesigned goggle was developed around three key performance upgrades – improved visual clarity, greater coverage, and enhanced comfort. The most notable feature is the high performance toroidal scratch and fog resistant lens and quick release system. The toroidal lens focuses more light directly onto the eye to provide better clarity in a variety of light conditions, while the quick release system allows for fast and easy lens removal and attachment.

Other features incorporated into Tippmann’s new goggle design, include: extended coverage to protect the chin, jaw and ear; additional ventilation to optimize airflow and reduce fogging; a premium woven strap for ultimate comfort and fit; an adjustable, fitted visor; and the use of compression-molded comfort foam wherever the goggle touches the face. On the rental version, the foam will be incredibly easy to replace, so field owners can simply switch out the foam insert instead of replacing the entire goggle.

The goggle will come in several versions, including: black, U.S. Army camo, Tippmann camo, and a rental version – all sold under the Tippmann and U.S. Army Paintball brands. In addition, this newly-designed goggle will also soon be available in all Tippmann and U.S. Army Paintball PowerPacks, providing a better performing goggle to those players purchasing kits.

“We’re very pleased with our new goggle and how the enhancements will ultimately help players have a better overall paintball experience,” said Ron Goldblatt, director of marketing for Tippmann Sports.

The goggles sold at retail will have a MAP of $24.95 and $39.95 for the black and camo versions, respectively.
